What's Happening
|
Richard returned home from a month in Iceland on August 9th. While in Iceland, he learned that he had made Staff Seargant. He will probably sew it on in about a year. This was his first time testing for it so I was so proud of him.
The girls started school on the 14th-Kahtrena in the third grade and Kelsey in the first. This is their first year at this school but so far things are going smoothly.
The girls will be doing cheerleading this year with the base and are looking forward to that. For now Anthony and I are gonna just hang out at home together since this will be his last year before he starts school.
I may start back to college at Valdosta State University in January which I am excited about.

MOVING!

In June we finally moved into the long awaited base housing. We have a four bedroom 2.5 bathroom townhouse and are really enjoying the extra space it provides.

Visiting Family and Friends
|
The weekend after we moved, we went to West Virginia for two weeks then on to Tennessee. We had a really great time. In Tennessee, we went boating on Douglas Lake several times and got to go into Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
My sister Rachel came down for a visit on August 12th and stayed until the 15th of August so we enjoyed having her.
